On Saturday, local residents displayed Bazha clothes by the Gerencuo Lake in Xizang Autonomous Region, China. Xizang Bazha clothes were inscribed on the second batch of the Representative List of National Intangible Cultural Heritage of China in 2008.
The style and design of Bazha clothes are unique, featuring large headgears, long tops and skirts, and a cowhide belt adorned with small accessories such as conch shells, copper mirrors, and copper spoons, each about the size of a silver coin.
