In electroplating, every touch of metallic luster carries the pursuit of beauty and exquisite technology. However, the existence of PFOS has brought new challenges to the electroplating industry.

As one of the framers and first batch of contracting countries of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, China has actively participated in reducing and eliminating PFOS.

Nowadays, the adoption of the closed-loop circulation technology realizes recycling of the wastewater and residues generated during the electroplating process, making them no longer a burden on the environment. Just as a gentle protector, this technology has transformed the electroplating industry.

In this open lecture on the Achievement of PFOS Reduction and Elimination in the Electroplating Industry, we will invite Professor Lin An of Wuhan University to give a lecture on the application of closed-loop circulation technology to hexavalent chromium electroplating line in China.
