China carries out reform in military education
In early July, the 16th meeting on the PLA military academies was held in Beijing. The meeting made clear the guidance, basic principles, major tasks, specific measures, and implementation methods and steps of the adjustment and reform of the PLA military academies and training institutions. The reform will improve the training system of commanding officers with emphasis on four levels, namely elementary command of officer candidates, arms (professional) command, combined operation command and joint operation command.
