The largest ever People's Liberation Army (PLA) guards of honor formation marched past Tiananmen Square Thursday morning in a military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.
A total of 207 PLA guards of honor from the Army, Navy and Air Force joined the parade.
The formation includes nine lines of male soldiers and three lines of female soldiers with 17 soldiers in each line, all dressed in green, white and blue ceremonial PLA uniforms.
