A total of 99 Chinese peacekeepers have finished a five-month peacekeeping mission in Liberia and arrived in Beijing Wednesday night.
The peacekeepers were the 19th group that the country's military has deployed to Liberia since 2003, and the end of their mission marks the end of Chinese armed forces' peacekeeping mission in Liberia.
The 19th group consisted of a transportation and an engineering detachment that completed tasks including road and bridge construction, material transportation and house renovation.
They were praised by the United Nations.
