The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was carrying out large-scale artillery drills Tuesday on the 85th anniversary of the foundation of its army, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.
There were signs that the DPRK's military was conducting large-scale, live-fire drills around the city of Wonsan on its east coast, Yonhap said, citing an unidentified South Korean government source.
