An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.1 struck off Yonagunijima in Okinawa in Japan's southernmost prefecture, the weather agency said here Tuesday.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), the temblor, which occurred at 1:35 p.m. local time, was centered at a latitude of 24.0 degrees north and a longitude of 122.6 degrees east, and at depth of 30 km. Enditem
