Taiwan's unemployment rate edged down to 3.75 percent in October, according to the island's statistics agency on Thursday.
The figure was 0.01 percentage point lower than the month earlier, and was the same as the figure recorded in October 2017, the agency said.
There were around 446,000 unemployed people in Taiwan in October, 1,000 fewer than in September, according to the agency.
The unemployment rate of those with a college degree was 5.17 percent, the highest among all educational levels.
In terms of age, the unemployment rate of the 20-24 age group was the highest, standing at 12.15 percent.
In October, about 11.46 million people were employed in Taiwan, up 0.1 percent from the previous month, the agency said. Enditem
