A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit waters near southeast China's Taiwan Wednesday at a depth of 20 km, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The quake took place at 13:21 local time.
Tremors could be felt in Taipei, according to media reports.
