Three people were killed, and four others injured after a steel stove exploded during cleaning work in a steel company in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Friday night.
The accident took place around 21:20 BJT (1320 GMT) in Yunnan Yuxi Huixi Steel Co. Ltd., when 10 workers were doing stove overhaul work. Seven of them were injured by the explosion and were rushed to the hospital immediately. Three of them died during treatment, and the four others are in stable condition now.
The local government set up a working team in time to rush to the scene to cope with the accident.
The cause is under investigation.
