China's top legislature on Saturday began to review a package of draft revisions to eight laws.
The laws are on construction, fire protection, electronic signature, urban-rural planning, vehicle and vessel tax, trademark, anti-unfair competition and administrative permission.
Justice Minister Fu Zhenghua briefed lawmakers on the revisions at the ongoing session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
The revisions were drafted by the Ministry of Justice in collaboration with other departments of the State Council to create a rule-of-law, international and convenient business environment, and to facilitate the enforcement of the Foreign Investment Law.
