Four people were injured after an explosion rocked parts of an Illinois town Friday night, according to authorities.
The blast happened at a silicone plant around 9:30 p.m. local time in Waukegan, about 40 miles north of Chicago, police said.
They said three people were unaccounted for.
The damage from the explosion is estimated to be more than one million U.S. dollars, Steve Lenzi, spokesman for the Waukegan Fire Department, said in a statement.
At least five other buildings in the area were also damaged, reported CNN.
