China's consumer price index, the main gauge of inflation, rose 2.5 percent in April year-on-year, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Thursday.
China's producer price index, which measures the cost of goods at the factory gate, rose 0.9 percent year-on-year in April, the NBS said.
