Local favorite Wang Jianjiahe stormed to victory in the women's 400m freestyle at the Chinese Autumn Swimming Championships on Friday.
The 17-year-old, who took bronze in the 1,500m freestyle at this year's FINA World Swimming Championships, and was a triple winner at China's Youth Games last month, clocked a time of 4:08.35 to seal the win.
Zhang Yufei snatched gold in the women's 100m butterfly in 57.82, beating 14-year-old Wang Yichun into second.
In the men's 100m breaststroke, Wang Lizhuo won in 1:00.03, and the Zhejiang team topped the men's 4x100m freestyle relay with a time of 3:19.39.
Held from September 4 to 12, the championship is considered a rehearsal for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, with a format mirroring that of the Olympics.
A total of 522 swimmers are taking part in the meet, with 278 male and 244 female participants across 25 teams.
