Chinese President Xi Jinping honored the flags of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the nation and the People's Liberation Army at the beginning of his review of the armed forces Tuesday morning.
Standing in a black open-roof Red Flag limousine slowly passing the three fluttering flags in Tian'anmen Square, Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, watched the flags with full attention as a salute.
He will review the troops along Chang'an Avenue in central Beijing.
