Foreign capital will be allowed to fully own futures companies in China from Jan 1 next year, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the country's top securities regulator, said Friday.
China is also about to remove foreign ownership caps on fund management companies and securities firms from April 1,2020 and Dec 1, 2020, respectively, the CSRC said at a news briefing.
China allowed foreign capital to take majority control of futures companies, fund management companies and securities firms in 2018.
