The preparations for the second China International Import Expo (CIIE) are almost complete, Vice-Minister of Commerce Wang Bingnan announced during a brief in Beijing on Oct 29.
The second CIIE is set to be held Nov. 5-10 in Shanghai, where China, as well as 64 participating countries and three international organizations, will present development achievements and speak about their respective business climates.
Fifteen countries will be guests of honor this year.
More than 3,000 enterprises from at least 170 countries and regions have been invited so far to display their goods, techniques and services, covering five categories in a 330,000-square-meter exhibition space such as equipment, consumption, food, health and service.
