Beijing Medical Products Administration has urged pharmacies to carry out real-name registration for customers who purchase antipyretic and pectoral medicines.
Those who buy fever and cough medicine will have to register their names, addresses, ID card numbers and contact information, as well as the symptoms of users of the drugs purchased.
Drugs stores have been urged to step up disinfection, send daily reports to the administration and guide patients having fever and cough to go to hospital.
