A new TV drama on poverty alleviation in China, titled "No One Left Behind," will be aired starting Monday, according to the National Radio and Television Administration.
The TV drama will be the first of the 20 TV series on the country's poverty alleviation campaign scheduled for airing this year, said a source of the administration.
No One Left Behind, which will be broadcast at prime time Monday on CCTV-1, tells the story of a poverty eradication program involving the planned relocation of poor inhabitants from inhospitable areas in the western region. It focuses on the topic of sustainable development in efforts to prevent the villagers from slipping back into poverty.
