Chinese Premier Li Keqiang vowed to enhance cooperation with the international community including the Netherlands on the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, calling for joint efforts to safeguard public health during a phone call with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Tuesday.
The premier promised to enhance cooperation with Netherlands and said that China will continue to help the Netherlands with facilitating purchases and the transport of medical supplies.
China will continue to control the quality of its export products, said Li, calling on the two sides to maintain the stability and safety of the global industrial supply chain.
Noting that Chinese citizens are currently living in the Netherlands, the premier hoped his counterpart will take concrete actions to protect their personal safety.
Rutte, for his part, thanked China for its support and assistance. He expressed confidence in the quality of China's medical products and promised to continue enhancing cooperation with China so as to further advance bilateral ties.
