Nearly 60 percent of imported COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland had been cured and discharged from hospital as of April 25, a health official said Sunday.
Among the imported cases, the number of those in severe conditions has dropped by over 53 percent compared with a week ago, said Mi Feng, a spokesperson for China's National Health Commission, at a press conference.
As the pandemic continues to spread overseas, China still faces increasing risks of imported cases, Mi said, calling for consistent efforts to swiftly deal with such cases. Enditem
