Russia has confirmed 9,434 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, raising its total number of infections to 335,882, its coronavirus response center said in a statement Saturday.
The single-day increase has fallen below 10,000 for eight consecutive days, the center's data showed.
The death toll grew by 139 to 3,388, while 107,936 people have recovered, including 8,111 over the last 24 hours, according to the center.
Moscow, the country's worst-hit region, confirmed 3,190 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking its total to 161,397.
Russia's consumer rights and human well-being watchdog Rospotrebnadzor said Saturday that about 276,000 people had been under medical observation as of Friday.
More than 8.4 million lab tests for COVID-19 have been conducted across the country so far, including some 276,000 over the last 24 hours, it added.
