A Chinese mainland spokesperson on Thursday slammed the collusion of Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) with anti-China elements in the United States, saying such absurd actions will surely be tried by history.
Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, made the remarks in response to a query about the DPP authority colluding with Mike Pompeo and others over the past years, including having official and military contacts as well as arms sales to Taiwan.
Colluding with U.S. anti-China elements, the DPP authority has made provocative moves of seeking "Taiwan independence" and been willing to act as pawns of anti-China forces, Zhu said, adding that DPP has sold out national interests.
The spokesperson added that she firmly supports the sanctions on related U.S. personnel who have performed badly on the Taiwan question.
