The United States is extending tariff exclusions on about 99 categories of medical products from China until Sept 30, 2021, to help the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an announcement from the U.S. Trade Representative's office on Wednesday.
The exclusion list covers a wide range of items from surgical masks and gloves to blood pressure cuff sleeves and X-ray tables.
Previously, tariffs on those medical products were to end at the end of March.
