Four new imported COVID-19 cases were reported Tuesday on the Chinese mainland, with two in Sichuan, and one each in Shanghai and Fujian.
The total number of imported COVID-19 cases reached 5,163 as of Tuesday, of whom 4,990 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery and 173 remained hospitalized, the National Health Commission said in its daily report Wednesday.
No deaths had been reported among the imported cases.
