China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) reported one new imported COVID-19 case on Friday, bringing the SAR's total number of confirmed cases to 53, according to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center of Macao.
The patient, a 59-year-old male visitor from China's Taiwan, arrived in Macao Thursday on a flight, the center said. The man said he had not been infected with the virus before, nor had he been vaccinated against it.
He has shown no symptoms yet, the center said.
