China's parcel delivery sector has sustained rapid growth in the first three quarters of this year, the State Post Bureau said on Friday.
From January to September, China handled nearly 77 billion parcels, a year-on-year increase of 36.7 percent. The revenue of parcel delivery business was 743 billion yuan ($116 billion), a year-on-year increase of 21.8 percent.
About 1.58 billion international parcels, including ones delivered to or sent from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, were handled from January to September, a year-on-year increase of 25.6 percent.
