Visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held the 21st annual summit between the two countries in New Delhi on Monday.
This was the first in-person meeting between the duo since their meeting on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Brasilia, Brazil, in November 2019.
After the summit-level talks, both sides signed agreements on fields including science and technology, higher education, intellectual property, military-technical cooperation, merchant shipping, cultural exchange, use of outer space for peaceful purposes, power, steel, sports and education.
Prior to the annual summit, the two countries held the first 2+2 dialogue, where the foreign and defence ministers of both sides held discussions on issues of mutual interests.
