A fighter jet crashed in South Korea with no casualties reported yet, Yonhap news agency said Tuesday.
The F-5E combat plane of the 10th Fighter Wing of the South Korean Air Force crashed at a hill in Hwaseong, about 60 km south of Seoul, at around 1:44 p.m. local time (0444 GMT).
After taking off normally, the fighter jet crashed while gaining altitude. The cause of the accident was not known.
Only one pilot was aboard the fighter, and whether the pilot is alive was not confirmed.
No civilian casualties were reported yet as the plane crashed at the hill. No bomb was reportedly mounted on the fighter.
