Imports and exports of central China's Henan Province topped nearly 821 billion yuan (about 129 billion U.S. dollars) last year, according to Zhengzhou customs.
The foreign trade volume of Henan exceeded 800 billion yuan for the first time, posting an yearly rise of 22.9 percent, said the customs of the provincial capital.
The top three markets for Henan's foreign trade in 2021 were the United States, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the European Union (EU).
Mobile phones, labor-intensive products, items made out of human hair were among the main exports, while integrated circuits, audio and video parts, and metal ores were the main imports.
The province's trade volume with countries and regions along the Belt and Road grew 16.4 percent year on year, reaching more than 182.5 billion yuan.
