The National Bank of Poland issued two limited edition collector coins on Thursday for the upcoming Beijing Olympic Winter Games.
The collector's items are dubbed the "Polish Olympic Team Beijing 2022" and consist of a silver 10 (2.5 U.S. dollars) market-valued coin and a gold 200-zloty (50 dollars) market-valued coin.
The silver coin will be sold by Poland's central bank for a gross price of 160 zloty (40 dollars) and shows a short-track skater on one face, and the Hall of Prayers for Good Harvests on the other, part of Beijing's Temple of Heaven complex. The bank will emit 15,000 silver coins to the market.
The gold coin will be limited to 1,200 pieces minted and shows a ski jumper on one face and the Polish eagle on the other side. The National Bank of Poland offers the coin to collectors for 3,900 zloty (976 dollars).
The coins will be sold at the central bank's regional branches, as well as online.
The XXIV Olympic Winter Games will be held on Feb. 4-20.
