The first fangcang, or makeshift hospital, in latest resurgence of COVID-19 in Shanghai, which was converted from the National Exhibition and Convention Center, officially closed on Wednesday.
A total of 25,000 COVID-19 patients have been treated here since it started operation on March 26. The 7,300-bed facility has been managed by a medical team from Fujian province assisting the fight against the latest COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai.
