China's FDI inflow up 16.4 pct in first eight months

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Chinese mainland, in actual use, expanded 16.4 percent year on year to 892.74 billion yuan in the first eight months of the year, the Ministry of Commerce said Monday.

In U.S. dollar terms, the inflow went up 20.2 percent year on year to 138.41 billion U.S. dollars.
