A small plane of the Japan Coast Guard on Tuesday morning made an emergency landing in Japan's coastal prefecture of Oita, with no casualties reported, according to local media.
At around 10:00 a.m. local time, the aircraft crash-landed in a field in the prefecture's city of Usa, according to Japan's national broadcaster NHK.
NHK aerial footage shows the white aircraft upside down in the area where the fields spread, with traces of wheels nearby.
The small propeller plane, operated by a Kitakyushu aviation training center under the Japan Coast Guard School, took off from Kitakyushu Airport around 9:19 a.m. local time and was on a training flight, according to the NHK reports citing the 7th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters.
On board were two people, a captain and a trainee, who are currently conscious with minor injuries and have been transported to the hospital, according to the local fire department.
