China's national railway network will implement a new train schedule from July 1, according to the China State Railway Group on Tuesday.
A total of 10,592 passenger trains will operate daily, an increase of 46 compared with the current schedule. Some 22,182 freight trains will run daily, 394 more than the present schedule.
Under the new plan, more inter-city high-speed trains will operate on the Beijing-Tianjin High-Speed Railway network. More high-speed trains will run between the mainland and Hong Kong.
