China will strive to complete negotiations on a free trade agreement with Nicaragua by the end of July, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
The two countries have picked up the pace in their work and will strive to wrap up talks by the end of July, ministry spokesperson Shu Jueting said.
China-Nicaragua FTA negotiations were launched in July 2022 and four rounds of negotiations have been held so far, Shu said, adding the latest was were held in Nicaragua from July 3 to 5.
