(ECNS) -- The air route connecting north China’s Xi'an and Vientiane, capital of Laos, officially resumed operation on Tuesday, catering to the increasing demand for bilateral tourism and business travel.
The route is serviced by A320 series aircraft with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Outbound flight HO1551 departs Xi'an at 12:15 a.m. Beijing time and arrives in Vientiane at 2:30 a.m. local time. The return flight, HO1552, departs Vientiane at 3:30 a.m. local time and lands in Xi'an at 7:25 a.m. Beijing time.
In recent years, economic and cultural exchanges between Xi'an and Southeast Asian countries have deepened. Growing outbound travel demand among local residents has further underscored the importance of such routes.
