(ECNS) -- A research institute under the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation announced success with the testing of guidance and control technology to retrieve a carrier rocket through vertical landing.
The test was conducted on Monday.
The No. 12 Institute of the CASC First Academy organized a technical team this year to focus on research related to the vertical landing of rockets and designed a test platform for reusable carrier vehicles.
The test has verified some key technologies, including some related to high-precision navigation and guidance control, and will promote the development of reusable space transportation systems.
