(ECNS) -- A Panda-Conservation show officially kicked off at the China Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
Themed “One Sky, One Dream”, the show displayed China’s achievements in ecological construction and scientific research and conservation of giant pandas.
To vividly show China’s advancement of giant panda conservation, China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda will livestream once a month during Expo 2020.
Six topics will help the audience better know the giant panda, and panda breeders will answer questions raised by the audience.
During the Show, China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda will hold activities including “Airdropping 2020 Pandas” and “Flash Pandas” in Dubai.
Another type of innovation of the Show is the Immersive VR Interactive Experience. The audience can feed little pandas and wipe their mouths using a joystick after putting on VR glasses.
While watching the cute giant pandas, the audience can learn China’s concept of ecological protection.
Thanks to China's efforts, there are 1,864 wild giant pandas and 633 captive giant pandas in the country so far.
Following a year-long delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Expo 2020 Dubai opened its doors to visitors on Friday and will last until Mar. 31, 2022
