(ECNS) -- Four Chinese provincial regions have kicked off large wind power photovoltaic projects since mid-October, People’s Daily reported citing the National Development and Reform Commission.
The projects, supported by regional power grids, aim to optimize the wind power photovoltaic layout.
The scale of the projects is nearly 30 million kilowatts. In addition, the projects cover a wide range of areas including several provinces where wind power and solar power resources are abundant.
The projects will not only accelerate the carbon neutralization and the implementation of recycled energy, but also improve the share of non-fossil energy consumption.
