(ECNS) -- An outdoor explosion-proof refueling robot was put into use at Lhasa Airport Expressway gas station in China's Tibet Autonomous Region on Wednesday.
With 2D and 3D visions and a movable three-dimensional platform, the refueling robot will position cars more accurately. Its mechanical arms will lower the risk of personal injury. An arm of the robot and the oil gun are designed integrally.
All of the core components are designed against low temperature, high altitude and strong ultraviolet rays. Customers can wake up the robot through an app without getting off cars during refueling.
The special design of the robot will also help prevent potential safety problems caused by oil injection when pulling out of the oil gun.
