(ECNS) -- China has urged the United States to stop unreasonable suppression of Chinese enterprises and will take necessary measures to safeguard Chinese enterprises' legitimate interests, the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said on Friday.
The U.S. Federal Communications Commission on Thursday revoked China Unicom America's authority of providing telecom services in the United States, which shows America's generalization of the concept of national security, its abuse of state power, and its malicious suppression of Chinese enterprises, said the ministry.
The move has deviated from market-oriented principles, damaged the legitimate interests of Chinese enterprises and American consumers, and ruined the normal order of international economics and trade, the ministry said.
China urges the U.S. to treat Chinese enterprises investing and operating in the U.S. fairly, according to the ministry.
