(ECNS) -- China's Rong Ge made a breakthrough after ranking the historic 5th in the women's snowboard big air of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games at Big Air Shougang on Tuesday.

With a combined score of 160.00 points - 85.75 from her second run and 74.25 from the third, Rong came back from only 29.00 points after the first run to rank the historic 5th as Rong became China's first woman to attend the women's snowboard big air finals.
Anna Gasser from Austria, Zoi Sadowski-Synnott from New Zealand, and Murase Kokomo from Japan won the gold, silver and bronze, respectively.
