(ECNS) -- Boeing is working with China Eastern Airlines and ready to assist with the investigation of the Flight MU5735 crash, said the company in a statement released on its website Monday.
"Our thoughts are with the passengers and crew of China Eastern Airlines Flight MU5735. We are working with our airline customers and are ready to support them," said Boeing.
"Boeing is in contact with the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board and our technical experts are prepared to assist with the investigation led by the Civil Aviation Administration of China," the company added.
The China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft with 132 people aboard crashed into a mountainous area in Wuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, at 2:38 p.m. during its flight from Kunming to Guangzhou.
No survivors have been found so far.
