(ECNS) -- The Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) on Monday sent the third batch of humanitarian aid including milk powder and clothing to the Afghan Red Crescent Society as a donation to help the country tide over current humanitarian crisis, according to the RCSC website.
The RCSC has taken active steps to help address the plight of Afghan people to improve their livelihood, the website said.
The RCSC donated 130 metric tons of flour in its second batch supplies to Afghan Red Crescent Society in early February and 10 million yuan($1.49 million) worth of living, medical and other emergency supplies in the first batch in December 2021.
