(ECNS) -- Residents in Beijing's Haidian, Chaoyang, Fengtai, Shunyi, and Fangshan districts will work from home from May 22 to May 28, said Xu Hejian, a spokesperson for the city government at Sunday's press conference.
Meanwhile, people in other districts were suggested to stay in their own districts.
Food and daily necessities were in sufficient supply across Beijing, and shops in communities and warehouses for aquatic products in lockdown areas are running as usual, Xu added.
Beijing reported 94 new locally transmitted COVID-19 infections between 3 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, of which 17 were found through mass screening in communities.
