(ECNS) -- The latest COVID-19 outbreak has been curbed in Beijing, said local authorities on Wednesday.
Thirteen districts in the city reported no new COVID-19 cases in the last seven days and have resumed normal life.
Shopping malls in uncontrolled or unsealed areas in the city are gradually resuming operation on the premise of controlling human traffic flow. They are also required to not hold gatherings such as exhibitions or promotional activities for now.
The city has implemented prevention and control measures against COVID-19 at the community level since May 29.
Beijing reported 11 new COVID-19 cases and three asymptomatic cases on Wednesday, according to the city’s health commission on Thursday.
All the COVID-19 patients confirmed in this outbreak have been received at Ditan Hospital and the Xiaotangshan makeshift hospital.
After two new cases were found in Fengtai District, local authorities warned that the risk of transmission still exists in some areas.
