(ECNS) -- China has asked the U.S. via various channels to explain its malicious cyberattacks and immediately stop its unlawful behavior, but has yet to receive a substantive response, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said Tuesday.
Chinese authorities on Tuesday released analysis on the NSA’s cyberattack on Northwestern Polytechnical University, disclosing further details and evidence, Mao said.
"I want to stress that the U.S. behavior has seriously infringed on tech secrets held by relevant Chinese institutions, and gravely undermined the security of China’s critical infrastructure, institutions and personal information,"she added, "The U.S. must immediately stop its actions and offer an explanation."
