(ECNS) -- The outpatient clinics across China are gradually restoring normal operation, said Guo Yanhong, director of the National Health Commission's health emergency response department on Thursday.
The proportion of COVID-19 cases in outpatient clinics is gradually decreasing. By Tuesday, the non-COVID-19 patients in the general outpatient clinic reached 99.5 percent, an indicator that the normal diagnosis and treatment of outpatient clinics is gradually recovering, she said.
Non-COVID-19 patients in hospitalized patients have increased significantly to 85 percent on Jan. 17, suggesting that the operation of the inpatient department is also recovering, she added.
