China's 2023 college graduates to reach 11.58 million

(ECNS) -- China's college graduates in 2023 are expected to reach 11.58 million, an increase of 820,000 year on year.

Seven departments including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Affairs have jointly launched a campaign to promote the employment of new college graduates to land jobs, and the campaign will last to June.

The departments made it clear that they would make efforts to create more jobs for college graduates, and improve supervision on illegal practices encroaching on young people's rights, including unqualified employment agencies and vacancies, as well as gender and age discrimination.
